This is a story set in the late 1800s about a mystical old cottage and garden in the remote outback of Cairns. It is not just a fairy tale, but an adventure deep into an underground of hidden tunnels full of grumpy little old men.

These little old men have been living in a world of darkness for hundreds of years mining a precious red ore.

Over the years, these miners created a range of Fairies. These fairies represent certain areas in the garden above them.

Once a fairy was made, she was wrapped in cloth and is taken to the garden in the cover of darkness where she is place in her planned position awaiting the sun to rise in the next morning.

Each fairy had a rough life span of between 3-6 years before they slowly turned back to rust.

The miners created a perfect formula and when you purchase a Fairy, it comes with a small via of this formula (Magic fairy Dust) follow the instructions and this will set your fairy free from rust.

When you purchase a fairy, she comes in the original miner’s leather tool bag that was used to take her to the garden which she was made for. Your fairy also comes with an individual name tag and branded with serial numbers then sealed in a handmade wooden box with a poem describing her personality and style.

The fairies are all handmade and no two are exactly the same.

They represent a unique image of old world charm, combined with a feeling of emotions and mystery.

Fairy Erin

Freedom and Tranquility

Name: Erin

Born: Circa 1899

Personality: kind, eccentric

Wings: frog feet webs

Erin is my name

like the sea so free
water is the life of me
a stream, a lake, a pond
I embrace
and the sun and the moon
reflect on my face
tadpoles and toads
wagtails and wrens
butterflies and bees
they are all my friends
in the leaves of the lovely lotus I lay
and dream and play the day away
